Try This for 21 Days
Somewhere I’ve heard that it takes 21 days to establish a new habit, so here’s something that you might like to try for the next few weeks. It will change how you interact with the world, and if done correctly,can actually help you remake your character if you have a desire to realize your fullest potential as a human, being.
All that is required is a few minutes of your time twice a day.
In the morning, just after you wake up, take a few moments to contemplate what lies ahead of you to do, whatever your situation. Before you focus on your day, center yourself and connect with the highest vibration of ‘you’ you can reach at this time. Then, as you go over your schedule, set your intention to be the self you truly desire to be in every moment and in the face of whatever challenges the day may bring. Resolve to monitor your thoughts and reactions to situations throughout the day.
In the evening, before you fall asleep, go over the events of the day. See how well you were able to stay in alignment with the intention you set for yourself that morning. How did you respond to the challenges you faced? Did you take advantage of the opportunities or new experiences you encountered? You can only be the impartial observer here. No self-blame, no praise allowed. Only observation and acknowledgement of what you discover about yourself.
This may seem like a overly simplistic exercise, but it can be powerfully transforming if done correctly and consistently.
