Companions I’ve Met Along the Way

Meeting Solomon, ‘Getting’ Charlie

I don’t often get a clear name from Spirit. When I do, I pay attention. During a group meditation exercise one day, a tall man with a fierce look on his face appeared before me. I quickly became aware of sensations in my forehead, throat, chest and diaphragm areas. Energy seemed to be swirling and pulsing in those areas. I knew the being standing before me was responsible for those sensations.

solomoncolordrawingI had the feeling that his appearance was an important part of my next step on my spiritual journey.  I have felt for months now that I am in the midst of what can only be called another initiation. (It feels like a rite of passage, and I am at the time in my life where that makes some sense. ‘Initiation’ means ‘to introduce into the knowledge of some art or subject.’)

Solomon made his presence known in my life and my energy field for a specific purpose, perhaps to lend assistance to my Guide Team and to support my transition into this next phase of my life. I am grateful for, and humbled by, his willingness to lend his energy to my mission.

I’ve not felt his presence this powerfully since then, but I am aware of him with me now.

Who is Solomon? I suspect he is my Alchemist, perhaps requested by my Chemist. I don’t know the name of my Chemist – the guide responsible for the balance of the physical body and its systems, but the Alchemist would be in charge of the shifting and changing of the subtle bodies to assist in tolerating the increasing vibrations occuring on the planet.

In the past few years, I’ve also come to understand who Charlie is, and how he helps me move through life.

I have to take a moment to go back to when my re-awakening happened almost 30 years ago. As I sat in my living room confused, scared, and at my wit’s end as to what was happening to me and to my carefully scripted out life, I became aware of this short-statured, gnome-like person who would appear and make faces at me, or would roll around the living room trying to make me laugh. He would show up on the front of my car pretending to be a hood ornament and pose in outrageous ways just to get me to smile.

charliedrawing3I was very serious those first years, and had no one to talk to about what was happening to me. I only had Spirit to trust, to talk to. When I finally had the thought to ask this being why he kept showing up, his response was quick, short and clear: ‘Lighten UP!’ he said, and with the words came the impression that by my taking things so seriously, I was keeping my vibration from shifting in the direction it needed to. Oh. I get it. After this, whenever he showed up, I knew it was a reminder for me to not take things so to heart that I allowed my vibration to slow too much.

Fast forward to this year, and a repeated message in the form of the name ‘Charlie’. The image that appeared just after Solomon made his presence known to me in that meditation in July turns out to be of one of my inner circle of guides: Charlie. He is the one who has spent so much time and energy helping me keep my (energetic) chin up, especially when the going gets tough.

The most important thing I’ve learned  through understanding more about my guides is that it really is true: I am, we are, never alone. We come into this incarnation with our own private entourage, posse, group of guides, companions, call them what you are most comfortable with. The critical thing is to learn to recognize their presence and learn to work with them to help you. The single best practice you can adopt is to call on your guides to help you! They stand, waiting and listening, for us.

We all have a better guide in ourselves if we would attend to it, than any other person.   ~Jane Austen, Mansfield Park

How Can I Remember My Dreams?

Everyone dreams. Without exception. Some of us don’t remember them. There are things you can do to help ‘catch’ a dream or two.

We will start with the most important thing to remember: intent is everything. That applies to the catching of one’s dreams in particular. The most important thing you can do to improve your dream recall is to focus your intention and your desire. Decide you really do want to remember your dreams, even if that means you may have to face some unpleasant information about yourself.

As you drift off to sleep, you can imagine yourself writing down dreams in the morning. You may even decide you want to share your dreams with others in a group setting. What seems to happen once a person sets an intention to work with their dreams, is they begin to remember their dreams! When your Dream Source  knows it’s being heard, the messages will start to flow again, and you will begin to remember your dreams.

It's important to record your dreams in one place.

It’s important to record your dreams in one place.

FIND YOURSELF A JOURNAL FOR RECORDING YOUR DREAMS         Do you need to have a detailed  dream experience in order to be able to uncover the treasures awaiting you in your Dreamtime? No. Whatever you remember, you are remembering for a reason: it is important.

Don’t discard those fragments or snatches of dreams. Give them the same respect you give the longer dreams. You will soon learn how complex a simple image is once you work with one of these in a dream group.

When you wake up in the middle of the night, it is imperative that you take a moment to scratch a few notes down. I keep a simple composition notebook by my bed to capture the crux of my dream experiences before they can escape. In the morning, I transfer these notes into my dream journal over my first cup of tea.

343px-Ice_coffee_imageIf you want to increase your chances of remembering a night dream, drink a large glass of (non-caffeinated) liquid before you go to bed. You will increase your chances of waking up in the middle of a dream cycle because you’ll need to answer nature’s call. Before you move, take a second to ask yourself: ‘What was I just dreaming about?’

When you first wake up in the morning, remember to ask yourself ‘What was I just dreaming about?’ before you turn your attention to your morning routine. If all you have the time for is a few words, jot them down in your composition book and transcribe the notes into your dream journal at your earliest opportunity.

Another tactic that works for some dreamers is to use the following morning’s date, and to write out their intention: I intend to remember my dreams when I wake in the morning.

If you still cannot recall any of your dreams in the morning, make one up. What would your dream have been if you had one? Record this in your journal. You are sending a signal to your DreamSource that you are serious about working with your dreams.

Half-Dome-Fire-1024x688Some dreamers choose to use a digital recorder to capture their dream notes. At some point, you will have to transcribe these notes, and often the words are not intelligible when you listen back. Some use a computer to keep their dreams. I prefer the journal approach. It is important you honor your dreams. The more energy you put into recording your dreams, in drawing images that come to you in dreams, the more likely it is that your dreams will reveal their vast potential to improve your life.

Pile of notebooks and papers

If your dreams are scribbled on stray scraps of paper, or in many notebooks, the quality of your dream catching will reflect this haphazard approach. If you take the time to set up a proper journal or file where you keep a record of your dreams, the more meaningful your dream experiences will be. You may even consider decorating the front cover of your journal. If you are artistically challenged, consider using images from magazines to reflect some of the dream themes or recurring images contained in the journal. For example, in 2014, one of the recurring images in my dreams was ships. These were all sizes, and included a massive space ship. Some NASA images and images off the internet of ships that closely matched what I saw in the dreams grace the front cover of this journal.

An interesting way to decorate the cover is to wait until a theme or recurring image shows up. You will be able to identify the themes more easily if you keep all your dreams in the same journal. Save a few pages in the back of the book so you can create an index of your dreams for easy cross-referencing. You will quickly recognize the value of this practice.

HOW TO SET UP THE JOURNAL

When you go to bed,  make sure to write the date in the composition book. Jot a few sentences about what happened during the day. (These notes will be important later. Context is critical to understanding the messages of your dreams.)

When you transfer these rough notes to your permanent journal, write ONLY on the right side of the page, leaving the left side blank as a place for images and any insights that come when you work with the dream later. Record your dream using first person, present tense. Using past tense when recording your dreams creates a barrier between the waking mind and the dream experience. In addition, sometimes there will be past experiences in the dream, and it is more difficult to sort this out if the dream itself is recorded in the past tense.

Give the dream a title, whatever comes to your mind even if it doesn’t seem to ‘fit’. This is often another clue about the dream-message. Do not hesitate to sub-title your dreams when you review them days or even weeks later.  If you can remember how you felt when you woke up, record that, as well.

Once you have a number of dreams in your journal, take the time one day to go back through looking for and cataloging common or recurring themes or images. Cross-reference these dreams whenever possible. (I do this in the index in the back of the book, as well as  with each dream.)

Angel in the SkyIf you get inspired, make art from your dreams, or turn a dream into poetry. Any way you can engage with the energy of your dreams and ground it into your waking life, the more intense your dream life will become and the more active your interaction with your dreams during your waking life will be.

Next time, we will take a look at some of the layers every  dream contains.

May you dream well this night. And may you remember them.

Unconditional Love For Sale

Photo by: Gerry Kahrmann, Vancouver Sun

Photo by: Gerry Kahrmann, Vancouver Sun

His name is Brice Royer, and earlier this year he posted an ad on Craigslist.

The ad quickly went viral with over 1 million viewers. Brice posted the ad because after he was diagnosed with stomach cancer in 2012, the reality of living with cancer set in and the pain became more severe. He found it more difficult to get up each day. The depression got so bad, he was actually thinking about suicide. It was too much to try to figure out how to successfully take his own life, so he told himself he would endure for just one more minute. And then another. Eventually, he chose to live.

Thinking he’d been handed a death sentence, Royer was inspired to take a vacation. He went to a cottage in North Vancouver for a month and while he was there, he researched the causes of serious illness, and discovered they ranged from toxins in the environment to stress and loneliness.

After much contemplation, he concluded that the root cause of his illness was a lack of love in our society. When he discovered that the healthiest people in the world live in places such as Okinawa, Japan and Ikaria, Greece, and that they have a lifestyle of caring for one another via what they call a gift economy, Royce wanted to experience this where he lives in Vancouver.

“They all have big families and small communities … they give freely and they receive freely. They are isolated from the market economy…and they make things themselves,” he says.

On March 12, 2015, he posted the following ad:

Hello, I am selling unconditional love for $0. Infinite square feet lot. Includes refreshing air, sunshine, the Earth, beautiful mountains and the ocean. A stunning ‘classic’ heritage made 4.5 billion years ago.

Address: Earth, Solar System, Milky Way.

Available now to serious buyers. Perfect for the first-time buyer and experienced investors feeling empty and trapped with stress and pressure to maximize Return on Investment because of family and stakeholders’ expectation.

HISTORY: I received it a long time ago when I was born. I received the gift of life from my parents, the sun, the water, the Earth, the air, a smile, a hug, a helping hand, without being asked anything in return. I didn’t earn any of them. They belong to the public domain, the commons, ‘Mother Earth’ or God, if you’re religious.

At some point, my ancestors were afraid and decided to own land that once belonged to everyone, sell services that were once freely given, and even own humans through debt. Since it was claimed or stolen by those who made the laws themselves with a series of ‘legitimate’ transfers, than any law that enforces private ownership is perpetuating a crime. Not all laws are morally just. Only recently, slavery was legal and women weren’t allowed to vote. Why pay for something that was stolen from you? They made a mistake. I’m sorry. Let’s start fresh with this new sale.

Although I am only one human and my time and resources are limited, my soul and the intention of love is eternal, and so is yours…and I would like us to share that experience.

PAYMENT: I don’t accept cheques or mortgage payments, only cash payments of $0. You are also welcome to re-sell it for $0. But I must warn you…it will multiply once you do.

Royce discovered that when he started giving unconditional love to strangers, gifts came back to help him, often in unexpected ways. Some of the projects he has been involved with include paying someone else’s rent for a year (even though he is currently living with his fiancée’s family) or paying a war veteran’s dentist to remove the dental amalgam fillings from her teeth that were making her sick so that she could better care for her autistic son.

Royce can only eat a few foods without getting severe headaches, rashes, heart palpitations and other symptoms. Carrots are one of those foods, and after he posted the ad, people all over the world started posting pictures of themselves with carrots to show their support. A Surrey farmer who grows food for the hungry offered Royer as many carrots as he needed before the two ever met in person.

When Francesca Murray, a homeless single mother, read the ad, she was inspired by his positive attitude and willingness to serve others. Via Facebook, she offered to come to Vancouver and help by cooking for him. Royer was so moved by her gesture, he set up a fundraiser site hoping to raise $100- to provide a two-month supply of vegetable deliveries for Murray and her young daughter. The goal was far exceeded, raising $2000- which allowed them to provide 250 meals to the women living in Francesca’s shelter.

The Power of Unconditional Love

The Power of Unconditional Love (Royer in the center, Francesca on the right).

Royer later learned that Murray’s time in the shelter ends in February 2016. She and her daughter will have to leave, whether they have somewhere to go or not. Royer and his friends are now looking for a way to find permanent housing for Murray and her daughter. They have started a new fundraising site with the goal of raising $25,000 in order to build Murray and her daughter a sustainable tiny home (for $20,000) and provide her with $5000- to cover her short-term living expenses until the house is ready. They want to reach this goal by December 25th. (In the few hours’ time it took me to write this article, the site has  raised almost $1000- dollars towards their goal.)

The greatest hope for our collective future is our humanity, that thing that stirs inside us that moves us to reach out to help another. When we share what we have, especially when that isn’t much, this Spirit multiplies exponentially.

This reminds me of the parable of the Widow’s Mite. For those of you who are not familiar with the story in Mark 12:42, Jesus and the disciples are present at the temple where the offerings were made. A poor widow put two small copper coins equal in value to a farthing in the basket while the wealthy were throwing in large amounts. Jesus comments on this to his disciples, and conveys the message that the widow’s gift was all she had, while the wealthy were giving offerings of no critical consequence to their lives despite the fact the amounts were considerably larger.

You are Loved...

                           You are Loved…

A homeless woman shares what she has with other homeless women. A seriously ill young man is moved to help others as part of his healing process. Both are enriched by their generosity. Spirit responds to our intention with incredible swiftness these days. There is something of powerful goodness building in our collective consciousness: an awareness of just how rich the Field of Plenty is, especially when we open our hearts without expectation of a return and give without hesitation.

I’m going to be a part of this one.

If you are moved to buy some unconditional love at $0., consider paying it forward here. One of Royer’s friends said it best: “By helping one person, we are helping all humanity.”

It Was the Morning of the First Day

Life happened. I apologize for the long delay between these installments. I’ve actually lived another, profound chapter of this very story since last I wrote here. And now, as they used to say in the old days, back to our story…

Let the Games Begin

The first exercise seemed innocent enough. We did a short drumming and then drew a picture of whatever came to mind when we came out of it. I worked with the person who was sitting close by. I didn’t notice who my daughter worked with. When we were back in the room at the end of the day, she did mention that she’d told a woman something and that the person had reacted in a strong way. I wasn’t paying attention because I was tired from the long journey to get to the workshop. The brief lapse in attention would turn out to be pivotal, but I didn’t understand this until after the adventure was over.

We shared in circle, and crow medicine made a first appearance. There was a flock of them. Many people had crow medicine, or were introduced to crow medicine this first day. Crow came into my life under unusual circumstances, but that is a story for another day. I ran from crow for years, until I finally surrendered to the medicine of crow, and the patient invitation I received from the Crow nation.

One of the best books on animal totems is Animal Speaks by Ted Andrews. Some of the most important things – things also relevant to this story – that he says about crow is that the crow has a certain aura of magic, of mystery about them. Black is the color of creation, of the Great Mother.

CrowbywaterCrow has a dominant place in many mythologies. One of their primary qualities, in addition to their intelligence, is their watchfulness. When one is traveling between the worlds, what better companion can we have than crow?

As I re-read Ted’s words about crow, I come across a sentence I’ve underlined in my very dog-eared copy of  the book: “Crows have long been considered magical, and my grandfather once told me how even finding a dead crow was a sign of good luck.” Well now, I forgot that little piece of information.

Wherever crow visits, there is magic. The crow is a messenger calling to us about the energy of creation and magic that is alive in our world every day. Crow started on the first day here, calling us  all – if we had the eyes to see it, the ears to hear it – to the magic that can be accessed whenever humans gather in groups with a sacred purpose.

This was such a group, and I for one at least, was there for a sacred purpose, I just didn’t understand it at the time.

We made another journey that first morning, and then it was time for lunch. In the afternoon, we journeyed to find an afterlife guide for our journeys.

akhenatenandhisfamilyI was most interested that my journeys, no matter where we were to travel as a group, tended to have a distinctly Egyptian flavor to them. That was not the focus of the workshop, but it was where I kept going, and I had no control over it. By the middle of the second day, with this distinctly Egyptian theme continuing, I began to have the sense that something was going on. These ‘off the reservation’ trips I kept taking seemed to have a purpose. It was almost as if it were being orchestrated from another level, by a higher consciousness if you will.

I surrendered to the process, but was distracted by the drama that seemed to unfold at the human level of things. While I was moving through the experience, I was often confused and distressed by what transpired. Every day, every night, I asked for guidance, for clarity, for I know that if we are to understand something, then the Universe will bring us that gift.

If I had one traveler’s tip for you fellow seekers of Truth, it would be this: Just live through the experience to the best of your ability. Remain aware. Take advantage of every moment, noting as much as you can about the circumstances, for you know not what will be important to your understanding later.

And don’t forget to rewind the experience a few times. You will often find you glean more insight in the process.

Life is an opportunity, benefit from it. ~Mother Teresa

An Epic Tale Begins – Background Story

Here comes the set up. I was guided through a series of synchronistic events to sign up for a workshop. For those of you who have been along for this ride since the beginning, you understand that how I live my life is by following the signs that Spirit so graciously lays out for me – for all of us, if we but take the time to read them.
You are also aware that, for the most part, I don’t do workshops. I prefer the direct revelation method of learning. It has served me well for over two decades, and much of what I have garnered through experience, I’ve shared here. Hopefully, I’ve encouraged you to harvest the ripened fruit of the experience by paying more attention to what is going on behind the curtain of the illusion you and I are currently dancing in.
What this recent experience taught me – and the insight  actually came from the layeredEinspaenner cup of coffee I chose for the Morning Coffee that set the stage for this adventure – is that not only are there varying levels of consciousness, there is the cup itself. As humans, we are capable of moving through the layers in the cup  by working on raising our vibration, and we are also capable of living from the perspective of the cup which includes all the layers as well as the cup.
Granted, I didn’t realize this was part of the training I took this past week (I was only living the layers), but I can see it now, and that means I can harvest more awareness from this writing exercise.
Anyway, back to the series of events that led to my richly rewarding experience. A student in one of the Intuitive Development classes asked me about dreams. I brushed the whole subject aside as I don’t remember most of my dreams, and frankly I am so much in the world of Spirit during the day, sleep brings a little break from that. (Or so I thought.)
At the end of the next series of classes, a different student inquired about dreams and dream interpretation as she wanted to help people using that as her platform. Once more, I said I don’t dream and referred her to someone who interprets dreams. It got me to thinking that there may be something for me to pay attention to as the requests had come so closely together.
The very next morning, I was awakened at 3:00 AM. This has been happening for almost a year now, ever since I first got the impulse to visit New York State last year. I even explored some possibilities, but none of them resonated with me so I left it alone. Since I couldn’t find a reason to make such a long trip, other than the fact that I was born in Rome, New York, I didn’t make any plans to visit there as it isn’t just a short car ride away for me. I let that part of the prompting go (free will choice and all) but waking out of a perfectly good sleep between 3:00 and 4:00 AM continued, so I learned to roll with it. I would usually just get up and start my day and then sleep in the late morning a few hours when I could, or go to bed early the next night when I couldn’t.

radioThis morning, I went downstairs and turned on the radio out of habit. It’s 3:45 AM by this point. I’d struggled for 45 minutes to go back to sleep before I finally gave up. The program that was on was Coast to Coast with George Noory, but the mellifluous tones that were emanating from the speaker belonged to someone else, and he was in the middle of a sentence that immediately had my full attention: “Well, if it were my dream,” he said and then proceeded to provide the person with some pretty insightful and helpful information.
I hadn’t a clue who it was, but I grabbed a pen and paper because I knew the name and contact information for the speaker would soon be forthcoming, especially since it was almost the end of the show. I took down the information, and immediately went to the website.

I’m not about to let the moss grow under my feet if there is an assignment from Spirit headed my way. That’s not my style. I perused the site, and found he led workshops. Since I was fully immersed in things of the star realm at the time (April 2014), and with Sirius in particular, I gravitated towards a workshop that had to do with that very thing. How synchronistic can you get?
I promptly purchased, and subsequently devoured, all of the books he’s written. I found some interesting “coincidences” in the material. I live my life looking for, and following the trail of, coincidence. He wrote a whole book about it.
Many years ago, I was drawn to explore shamanic drumming through the Harner Institute. He studied with them as well.
I believe we all already know the answer, we just don’t know that we know it. He teaches people how to mine their dreams for insight.
Nobody else can tell you what your experience is, nor should they. He teaches a way to share our insights about others’ experience that empowers them.
I signed myself and a friend up for the two-day workshop about Egypt and other things. I didn’t realize until later that the lodging I found for us was at a quaint Bed and Breakfast called The Library.  (Think “Akashic Records” and you will see the connection). Who says Spirit doesn’t have a sense of humor?
Now here’s the rub: that workshop isn’t until next weekend. The story I tell here is from a different workshop in another location led by the same facilitator that happened this past weekend. It was in upstate New York. It was five days, not two, so there was plenty of time for the energy to build, and be released. I am going to tell my story here. I will relate only my experience, and I am going to take a page from the new book of learning I am working with and refrain from any analysis as much as possible. “Just the facts, ma’am,” as Joe Friday the cop used to say.
The road is long here, with many a winding turn, and I don’t want to lose you before I’ve even begun, so we will start with the first day. For reasons I’m not able to share, as they are not part of my story, my daughter was along for this ride.
What you need to know about her is she is one of the most ‘connected’ individuals I know. When I need counsel about something important, I go to her. You wouldn’t know it by looking at her (she is deeply camouflaged), but she is a magical being. If you want the Truth, ask her a question. There are no filters there, and when she is in a helping mode, she will dig out the things that you most need to hear. It comes from a place of helpfulness, for she knows no other way.

The Story Begins

We made our way to the House of Healing (the building where the workshop would take place) and we each found our place in the circle. I liked that the room was set up in that way. I like working with people in a circle whenever I can, and I noticed there was a doorway, an opening, in the circle. This is important, as it allows the circle to breathe. It makes room for Spirit to enter, and for energy to flow out when needed. It helps to maintain the balance of energy in the circle.
That first day, I was drawn to sit on one side of the Gateway, or opening. My daughter chose a spot in one of the directional quadrants of the circle. I cannot properly orient you to the directions here, as the location is not familiar to me (I was among the trees in upstate New York) so I don’t know whether the Eastern Gate was the one that was open.
I am full of excitement and anticipation. I have longed to have a physically embodied  teacher for years, and was looking forward to this experience. Not that the meta-physical Masters who have provided my training are not appreciated, but sometimes it is helpful to be able to have conversations with a soul that is currently inhabiting a physical body as I am.
We open the circle with the flinging of a drum stick. My greatest fear is realized in that very moment: the drumstick has singled me out to go first. I am disoriented and confused, and it takes me a moment to collect myself. The thing I hate the most is to have the spotlight shone on me. It usually means trouble is coming, and that is not what I wanted for myself this week. I stand and gather myself together. Silence, then I speak the name of the body, which is how I will be identified for the time of the workshop.
An observation is made that, since I seem confused about my name, perhaps that is why the Universe is also confused. I will ponder this input, as I do all things, but the confusion and disorientation was a result of the darn drumstick drawing attention to me right out of the gate…and I think that pun is intentional!
I may have had trouble with my name, but I was very clear about my intention. I won’t go into something, especially something like this, without a clear intention. I want Spirit to understand what it is I want from the opportunity.
My experience has usually been that having others’ energy focused on me brings me only grief in some form or another, unless it happens in one-on-one situations, or smaller groups, or I am presenting something to people who have chosen to come and sit with me. Sometimes even then, there is challenge. I learned this past week that I tend to get nervous and naturally seem to put up a shield in such situations. This tactic is received in different ways by people.
I know I am a catalyst (a person or event that quickly causes change or action). There is nothing I can do about it, and I try not to take this personally, but dammit, it seems I am also human. (At least I am playing one on this stage right now.) Sometimes it’s difficult to separate myself from the experience. Sometimes, I do lose my focus. Let’s just say here that the catalyzing started almost immediately.
I also want to point out that I am looking at all of this in hindsight, that I have had some time to garner some awareness about what was going on. I will also admit that for most of the time, I was confused and spent most of my time begging to be shown the “Why” of all of this.
Remember what I’ve said before: The Universe does not waste energy. You will know what you need to know when you need to know it, and not one moment sooner. This awareness is what helped sustain me through what unfolded with magnificent and absolute perfection over the next few days, even when it didn’t feel so much like perfection when I was in it.

Enough for now. More to come.

Morning Coffee – A Writing Burst is Coming

EinspaennerI know it has been quiet here for some time. I’m still deliberating whether or not I need to just shut this down. The answer from the Universe is obviously “Not yet…”

I recently endured one of the most perplexing and intense weeks I’ve had in a while, which means there is much insight for me to harvest there. It comes best when I write it out, or talk it over. This time, I choose to write it out, so you who still visit here will be the beneficiaries of that endeavor. Lucky you. There are insights here, I can feel it. I just don’t know (yet) what they are.

I will now employ a well-used technique to get you to come back to read all about it: there were great Mother Bears, and huge snakes. Crow and raven flew. Ancient wounds were re-opened, and an old story played itself out on a modern stage. The ultimate result was different this time, however. We will dance between ancient and modern times, so you will have to remain on your toes. I will do my best to keep the players and the timelines straight.

This is an epic tale, a mythic one, with many nuanced twists and turns. There is intrigue, there are struggles for power, and there is the proverbial Tipping Point. Hopefully, in the telling and sharing, you will find grist for your spiritual mill, something to contemplate and perhaps even something to apply to your own life. We must use all the tools available to us. It is time. With this tale, I call you to Stand.

For now, I will leave you with this: there are always gifts and blessings in any experience. We just need to stay focused and look for them.

For now, the coffee cup’s empty, and I have much to do this day. Thanks for sitting with me for a while.
