About a Miracle in Missouri

highway picAs I started the task of unpacking my belongings today, I had the radio turned on. A story caught my ear, and I wanted to share it with you. I got goose bumps when the announcer stated that no one was certain if it was an angel who appeared on the road the other night. I only get goose-flesh when I am in the presence of Truth. I will leave it to you to discern for yourself.

I feel it is a blessing I am in this area now, and am looking forward to what tomorrow will bring, so it was kind of interesting to have the first news story I hear be one about an angel.

On August 8, on a highway near the small town of Center, Missouri (not far from where I now live) 19-year-old Katie Lentz was fighting for her life. She was seriously injured in an accident caused by a drunk driver, and as she lay pinned, crushed between the steering wheel of her Mercedes and the driver’s seat. She was fading fast.

Workers tried for 45 minutes to free her, but didn’t have the proper equipment to do so. A helicopter waited to airlift her to the nearest trauma center, but the rescuers were unable to free her.

PriestAs if from out of nowhere, a silver-haired priest appeared. He had anointing oil with him, and he said he would pray with her. Everyone went to their knees, and the priest prayed with and for Katie. When he was finished, he told the rescuers their equipment would be sufficient to help her, and moments later the additional help arrived.

They righted the car, and extricated Katie from the mass of metal she was trapped inside of for almost an hour. When they looked for the priest to thank him for his help and comfort, they couldn’t find him. It was as if he’d vanished as suddenly as he’d appeared.

Now, remember the road was blocked off for at least a mile in both directions.

It is also interesting to note that the priest was not familiar to any of the people on scene. There are a few churches in the small towns surrounding that area, but no one recognized this priest.

Of the almost 70 photos that were taken of the accident scene, there is not a single one in which this priest appears.

Katie asked people to pray for her, and to pray out loud. Her request was answered. I believe an angel was sent to help her in her time of need. Even if it turns out the man was a human, he showed up right when she – and the other people involved – needed him to. That makes him an angel either way.

Katie’s mother has reported that she was upgraded from critical to serious condition, and that, despite two surgeries already and two more ahead, Katie is doing well.

The Free Gift

Sometimes a Gift is Just a Gift…Or Is It?

I’m going to be asking for a little help with this one.  I had a very interesting experience last weekend, and I can feel there’s an insight there, but I haven’t  been able to pull it in yet.  So I’m going to put it out there to all of you with the hope that maybe you can see what I can’t.  But then again, maybe it’s just going to turn out that a gift is just a gift.  Just because.  And that’s OK too.

I spent this past weekend in Omaha, Nebraska.  I traveled up there because there is a neat group of ladies who are interested in learning how to make, or in some cases strengthen, the connection to Spirit.Since I  teach intuitive development, it’s a really good fit.

Morning Coffee – 08/10/12

 Just Winging It Today

This is a true experiment, this morning cup of coffee.  I come to my writing space and I begin.  And I have no idea of the subject matter of today’s cup.  So let’s just call this one spontaneity, shall we?

The thing I’ve noticed for myself lately is that since I’ve been in the journals refreshing my memory so I could write the articles on the principles, I’ve been more observant of late.  And I’ve also noticed a reactivation of my introspection at a deeper level than it was 20 years ago.

I’m also smack dab in the middle of a life experience that demonstrates how these principles actually operate, so that’s been kind of interesting.

There’s been an increase in both coincidence and synchronicity in the past few weeks.  Markedly so.  What that tells me is not only am I on track, I am really on track.

Last weekend, at the Intuitive Development class I taught, I shared my understanding – gained through direct experience – that the perfect flow for our lives is an energy stream that’s only about 6 inches wide.  It is a physical thing.  Very subtle.  Not easy to detect.  You have to be really paying attention to even sense it.

It’s been almost two decades since I felt so acutely this flow.  But I’m in it now.  I can feel the current.  I’m in the boat, paddling as fast as I can.  I’m going to let this current carry me right to my destiny.

The most important thing here to point out is that I’m in this current because of my willingness to just do what comes next.  The beauty of how this thing is unfolding takes my breath away.  I wish I could explain it to you, right now I can’t.

Once I’m on the other side of this, when I can look back with some perspective, I will share it all with you over another cup of coffee on another day.

Change is coming.  No, change is here.
